The museum

After the completion of the second phase of the conversion programme, the Bois du Cazier today presents a panorama of the industrial history of Wallonia, principally based on the Charleroi region, and its three great industrial sectors: coal-mining, iron and steel and glass. The meeting with this history is both sensory and visual with the activities of the workshops centred on work with metal and glass.
