Opening hours

Every day
except Monday
Tuesday to Friday Saturday and Sunday	from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

 

Cost of admission

Individual visitors

The cost of admission includes access and a free visit to the museums (the pithead, the 8th August 1956 site, the glass museum, the industry museum (with audio-guide), the forges and the green spaces).

There are specific rates for the activities, events and temporary exhibitions.

 

Visits and you

On the first Saturday and Sunday of each month, at 3.30 p.m., the Bois du Cazier offers individual visitors the possibility of taking part in a guided visit for 5 euros.
The dates are listed in the agenda.

 

Groups (by reservation, max. 25 persons per group)

- Entrée sur le site (gratuité pour l’autocariste et un accompagnateur par groupe de 25 personnes)
- Visite guidée ou atelier-découverte: 45 € par un groupe
- Offre combinée : 25€ l’atelier si combiné avec une visite guidée

 

Languages

The visit to the site is available in French, Dutch, English and Italian (except the industry museum).

 

Documentation centre

The documentation centre is open:
from Tuesday to Friday
from 9 a.m to noon
and 1 p.m to 4
by appointment
